Welcome to unimocc art cafe gallery, a captivating gem nestled in the heart of Osaka's Chuo Ward. This unique cafe artfully combines the pleasures of fine beverages with the wonder of art, making it an ideal stop for both coffee aficionados and art lovers.

As you step inside, you are greeted by an ambiance that sparks creativity. The walls are adorned with vibrant art pieces, each telling a story that invites you to explore. Here, the drinks are not just refreshments but exquisite creations inspired by legendary masterpieces. Each sip is an experience, as evidenced by stellar offerings on the menu like the 接吻 (Kiss) drink, a bold ginger ale infused with zesty ginger jelly, Grenadine, and lime—which mirrors the golden allure of Gustav Klimt's works. At just JP¥1,200, this drink presents a beautiful blend of flavors that tickle your taste buds with just the right amount of spice.

If you're in the mood for something sweet yet sophisticated, don’t miss the Ophelia (オフィーリア), an exquisite espresso matcha latte that blends creamy sweetness with the rich earthiness of matcha, accented by edible red flowers—a nod to the artistic embellishments in Millais' portrayal. At JP¥1,500, this drink not only quenches your thirst but also captivates you visually and narratively.

For a refreshing twist, the Southern Garden (サザンガーデン) offers a colorful fruit sorbet tea soda that looks like a piece of art in its own right. Inspired by Paul Klee’s attempt to depict sound through visuals, this vibrant drink is perfect for those hot Osaka days.

Your experience at unimocc is enhanced by the welcoming staff, eager to share their passion for art and beverages. However, some guests, like Mohammed Aziz, have expressed a desire for clearer instructions regarding the unique drawing experiences and photo opportunities—the canvas cakes that you can decorate with edible colors being a highlight. Others, including Jane, recommend the delightful Dance drink—a personal favorite for its delicate balance of flavors.

While the creativity is abundant, a few have noted the overwhelming sweetness in some offerings, indicative of a goal to please the palate with artifice. Louis Guittard points out the limited color palette available for cake decoration and the lack of seating arrangements, which may pose a challenge for those who prefer to take it easy during their visit. However, the artistic vibe and the opportunity for unique interactions make this Jakarta experience truly one-of-a-kind.

Overall, unimocc art cafe gallery seamlessly fuses art and food, inviting you to sip, savor, and express yourself. If you find yourself in Osaka, make sure to stop by for a memorable experience that captivates all your senses.

New and wonderful experience. The drinks are varied, but most of them are too sweet. Maybe it was due to the language barrier, but the instructions weren't clear. For example, I only discovered by chance that there were paintings to take photos with after I had finished my drink. It would be great if there were instructions, even written ones, for drawing. It would make the experience more enjoyable and better. There are no chairs in the cafe; it's a standing-only system. This might not be suitable for those who have trouble standing for long periods. In any case, the place is worth trying.

It’s an art -cafe with unique concept. It provides canvas cakes and edible colours and embellishments, bright coloured sugars, and pastes to artistically decorate the canvas cake. Drinks offered along are designed and decorated taking inspirations from legendary art- works like “the kiss” by Antonio Gaudi, or “Ophelia “ inspired from drowning - Shakespeare- Hamlet

Really fun, creative activity to do. Gorgeous drinks that really remind you of the associated paintings. The colors are quite limited for the cake. Also the whole experience (especially the cake) is quite overwhelming in sweetness. No chairs so be ready to spend an hour on your feet.

The staff is super kind. I would recommend the « Dance » drink it’s really good and delicate. My sister took the « The Kiss » and she really liked it. I love that each drinks represents a painting. It would be good if there was chairs, some people can’t stay up too long for multiple reasons. And there’s not toilet either. Also you can take photos of your drinks and the painting outside!

Creative idea for a some art and cafe.. Paint your own piece and enjoy its after. The drinks are beautifully made. The taste of the drinks and cakes is nothing special, but the experience was fun. I travelled during 8/2025, it was a nice place to beat the heat if you need some peace from the crowded streets of Osaka. Small local restaurants right across from the cafe if you are looking for a local meal.

Come here with the intent to have fun, get creative and paint, not to eat. You have an hour to decorate a small cake, and eat it too if you can handle the dense sweetness. The art inspired drinks look beautiful, and taste quite good too. If you go for the drink and cake plan be sure to finish your drink before you dig into the cake, otherwise the overly sweet cake will drown out any nuanced sweetness of the drink completely. They don’t offer lids if you want to take your drink out with you so be prepared to finish it in the shop or walk around lid-less. Overall it was a fun experience, but there certainly are better places to eat. However, perhaps nowhere as unique to literally play with your food.
